What to Expect
Thank you for choosing Delightful Chiropractic. We are honored to help you.
Before your first visit in our office, most prospective patients have already discussed their case with Dr. Kristen during the phone consultation and will be ready for the initial evaluation on their first visit to our office.
Your First Visit
Welcome to the office! Feel free to take our virtual office tour here.
Today is discovery day. We need to confirm that your case can be helped by chiropractic care. Since our focus is your nervous system, Dr. Kristen will take you through some functional neurological tests, postural assessments, and potentially perform up to three NeuroScans along your spine. If you are pregnant, your first visit will also include a Webster Technique Analysis to assess the biomechanics, mobility, and stability of your pelvis (and therefore your uterus) and all the surrounding support structures.
Before parting ways, you may be given some home care recommendations to help prepare for your first chiropractic adjustment and will schedule your second visit, the doctor’s report.
We typically do not treat the first day because we need to first review your test results, analyze your case history, and consider your personal health goals to determine the best course of action.
Your Second Visit
This visit is decision day, where you and Dr. Kristen sit together to review her doctor’s report for your case outlining:
- The cause of your problem
- How chiropractic care can help
- How long it will take
- What the cost investment will be
This is a great time to ask any questions you may have and you will learn what all your options are for moving forward. Upon acceptance of your care plan, you can receive your first chiropractic adjustment in our office that same day.
New Patient Forms
The preferred method to fill out the intake paperwork is online. You will be emailed the paperwork most relevant to your case type, and you can access them via our secure online system.
If you are not able to fill them out ahead of time, we will have a paper form available in our office. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time if you know you will need to fill out the paperwork in person.
